Responsibilities:
- To assist the Editor in editing the content of Disney Magazines published by the company
- To assist the Publisher/ Editor in planning and implementing the editorial calendar, plan the content flow, checking and verifying facts and figures, doing extensive internet research, rewrite/summarize/proofread articles, source for articles of general interests, select suitable photographs
- To work closely with a team of graphic designers who will execute the layout of the publication under the direction of the Editor
- To liaise with clients on their comments and amendments in the various drafts of work
- You will occasionally provide support to marketing, advertising and event operations when so required
Requirements:
- Passion for children's development
- Passion for Cartoon Characters
- Proficient in English and read widely
- Comfortable in writing and editing articles for various publications
- Meticulous and has a sharp eye for grammar/typographical errors
- Able to work in a deadline oriented environment and handle a few assignments at the same time
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, especially those with Mass Communication, Arts, TESL, Journalism qualifications
